“Six Years Later ” is a reimagined version of “Two Years Later,” the closing track from my 2021 album "when you find my body, call me by my name". Originally written as a quiet epilogue, almost a throwaway, it took on new meaning when it unexpectedly hit the Classical charts in Spain in 2024.

While working on "fight to keep from sinking", I leaned more into strings, textures, and atmosphere. As I neared the finish line, the idea of an epilogue surfaced again, and I decided to revisit the original track, this time with the sound and emotional tone of the new album.

It felt like a fitting way to close this chapter.

What was once a footnote has become something more reflective, more intentional — a small piece of survival, stretched across six long years.
