Blankenberge is a band from Saint Petersburg, Russia. They play a mix of post-rock, shoegaze and dream pop. Their music is soft and noisy, it is inspired by sounds of nature. Once, their singer Yana and guitar player Daniil travelled to Belgium and one of the places they visited was Blankenberge. The coast of the North Sea so inspired them that soon they composed a song ("Seagulls") about it and it was a start for the band.
