Bark Psychosis

Bark Psychosis were an English band from London, formed in 1986 by Graham Sutton, John Ling and Mark Simnett while the three were still in school. They are widely considered one of the originators of post-rock. The term itself was coined by music journalist Simon Reynolds in a 1994 review of their debut album "Hex", a record that blended ambient soundscapes, dub textures, jazz influences and electronic sampling into something that didn't really have a name yet. The band went on hiatus in 1994 and briefly reformed in 2004 to release "///Codename: Dustsucker" on Fire Records before going dormant again.
