Tethered Hands

Tethered Hands is a cinematic post-rock duo formed in 2024 by pianist/composer Joseph D. E. Phillips (Richmond, Indiana) and guitarist/bassist Daniel Rickards (Brighton, UK). Blending emotional piano with soaring guitars and orchestral textures, their debut 2025 album explores themes of grief and resilience, with standout tracks like “Tonight the World is Ending, Tonight We Say Goodbye.” Fans of MONO, Explosions in the Sky, and BRUIT ≤ will feel right at home in their richly layered soundscapes.
