Fluorescent Forest is a post-rock/ambient band from Kerala, India, blending cinematic guitar-driven soundscapes with subtle Indian spatial and Carnatic influences.
Following their earlier releases—including the official video for "Illuminated Roots," "Silence" (feat. Bennett Gideon), "Tat Tvam Asi," and "Maya"—the band has officially dropped their debut full-length album, In Absence of Sky. Moving from deep introspection to sweeping transcendence, the album explores themes of illusion, self-discovery, and the profound bonds of life.
Having performed across major stages in India—including sharing the stage with international artist RINI and securing a Top 5 spot at Strawberry Fields (NLS Bangalore)—Fluorescent Forest continues to carve a unique space in the global post-rock and ambient scene.
