Mutilated Perception is a post‑hardcore trio from Salt Lake City blending post‑rock atmosphere with hardcore punk energy. Influenced by Converge, Unwound, Deftones, and Slint, the band is known for its one‑handed guitar technique, scream vocals, and harmonica, backed by jazz‑infused drumming and a bassist who expands the sound with both rhythm and low‑end power.
