cuacamendung

cuacamendung is a post-rock band from Samarinda, East Borneo, Indonesia, that composes atmospheric, ambient instrumental music. They present emotional landscapes through layers of harmonious and dynamic sound. Formed in 2010, cuacamendung emerged from a collective restlessness for a musical space where instrumental expression could realize multi-interpretive works without narrative constraints. Heavily influenced by bands such as This Will Destroy You and Explosions in the Sky cuacamendung released their debut EP—untitled—in 2011. These songs laid the foundation for their ongoing musical exploration.
