We just hit 2222 bands listed on Post-Rock Nation. That’s huge, not just because it’s a cool number, but because it shows how far we've come.
When we started this project, we weren’t trying to be flashy or complicated. We just wanted to build the kind of post-rock site we always wished existed, something that brought together fans, artists, and great music in one place.
Why We Made It
Post-rock doesn’t get the love it deserves, especially online. We saw scattered links, playlists, and posts, but no real home for the genre. So we built:
- A big, clean archive of bands from around the world
- Easy links to stream and listen
- A radio station that runs 24/7
- Artist interviews and site updates shaped by real listeners
- A growing space where anyone can contribute and be part of it
Getting to 2222
Every band added took time, checking info, tagging styles, making sure it belongs. We updated the site, cleaned up mobile design, and worked on features people asked for. You’ll see our fingerprints all over it, because it's handmade, not automated.
🚀 What’s Next
We’re working on better ways to connect fans and artists, and to help you discover bands that actually fit your taste. More updates are coming soon, and they’re all shaped by the people who use and love Post-Rock Nation.
