At Etiam is the debut Studio Album from emerging London based Instrumental Post Rock group JakkaL!

Painted with a collage of soundscapes, guitar textures and layered synths keys - occasional 60's BBC news samples (Above All) 1950's scientific experiments (Even Esotoria) and NASA broadcasts (The Silverton Breakdown) interject with both cautionary and optimistic dialogue, laying the ground for a variety of haunted spaces and suspenseful build ups.

Melancholic piano melodies dip in and out of a serene yet unstable ambience, spanning from frayed layers to the focussed and driven conformity of heavily driven guitars and synths loops.

The samples chosen echo historical endeavours for scientific innovation, the challenges faced searching for social equality and journeys of self empowerment.

The work takes a journey through the social conflicts between sinicism and hope, but ultimately an optimistic hum runs through the core of the album that seems to champion the unsung triumph of hopeful resolve.

JakkaL are: Joseph Edge (guitars, bass, keys) and Joel Britto (Synths, keys). Produced  by Joe Reeves Recording ltd.

Following their debut Studio single 'Mycelium', released in December 2021, the group spent the next year recording and mixing 7 new tracks with Producer Joe Reeves.

At Etiam was released in February 2023 and is available to Stream on all platforms and also available to purchase on Bandcamp.

No tabs, no setup, no thinking about it. Just press play and you’re in. That was really the whole idea behind this. Post-rock, at least for me, is

Finding post-rock concerts has never been easy. Tours are announced quietly, dates are scattered across different platforms, and festivals share lineups once and move on. If you’re really into this music, you’ve probably missed shows simply because y

Email notifications are here!

Hello everyone, It feels good to bring you a fresh round of updates to the site. A little while back I ran a survey on our social channels asking whether you’d want to get notified when your favorite artists release something new. The response was pretty clear, most of you said yes, and quite a few even asked for it directly. So for the past few weeks I’ve been laying the groundwork to make that happen. It took a bit of behind-the-scenes work, but it’s finally ready. Email notifications are n

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new addition to the Post-Rock Nation Radio rotation: Blak, the Catalan post-rock collective known for their emotionally charged compositions and cinematic soundscapes. Their latest offerings are a masterclass in dynamic tension and introspective release. With track titles that read like fragments of poetry, Blak invites us into a world where solitude is both a cage and a refuge — and where strength is forged in the quiet aftermath of collapse. 🎧 Now stre
