One man bands needs help

I'm a one man band. I write all my pieces by myself and rely mostly on Midi Instruments to actually make the sound. I'm still pretty new at this and although I'm happy with the songs themselves, my ability to remix and master are non-existent. I feel my songs don't live up to their full potential because of this.

I could pay someone to master/remix but most quotes I get are expensive. To get a full EP done it'll probably be around €800 - €1000. I don't really have that cash. Does anyone have advice on some mastering/remixing tutorials or programs that can help get them sounding better?

Check this out. I learned a lot from these guys. They have a lot a free content available, as well as paid courses. But of course, this is another set of skills you’ll have to put time to perfect.
