Billy Manilli

Fleeing away from many of the worn-out clichés of the genre (ethereal sounds, metaphysical vibes, mandatory cinematic landscapes), Billy Manilly pursues a more grounded and down-to -earth brand of post-rock that intends to go back to the basics, with more or less traditional song structures and tons of raw emotion. Mogwai, Slint, Labradford, and Bark Psychosis are some of their most notable influences, along with other non-post-rock bands like Bedhead, Codeine, and Joy Division.
