A momentary lapse of happiness

A Momentary Lapse Of Happiness is an Italian instrumental band combining cinematic atmospheres, post‑rock structures, and jazz‑tinged improvisation. Formed in 2020 from the merger of two trios, the ensemble features guitar and sampler, bass, double bass, and drums. Their music blends textured soundscapes, layered grooves, and subtle electronics. After releasing their debut album Wire in 2023 and performing at festivals such as MEDIMEX Bari, the band is now preparing their new EP Our Tissues (2026), expanding their cinematic and emotional approach to instrumental music.
