Itchy Fiction

Pittsburgh duo Itchy Fiction (Jacob Robison and Dirk Matonak) crafts an explosive, narrative-driven instrumental sound that mirrors a film score in motion. Following their 2025 debut, Make Connections, which explored temporal experiences, the multi-instrumentalists return on July 10th, 2026, with their sophomore EP, “Infinite Gradations and the Universal Messenger.” Inspired by the question, “Where does an idea come from?”, the cohesive 20+ minute, five-part musical journey looks both inward and outward for answers, weaving an immersive sonic thread across the entire release.
